BROKEN THE RULES II

This time I will discusse again on broken the rules, but not about my diploma major. Then I will introduct some unusual work of three designers.
The first one is Ashton Raggatt McDougall. Ashton Raggatt McDougall or ARM Architecture is a firm of architects based in Melbourne and Perth, Australia known for "architectural outspokenness”. Architects believe that Australian history by many different ethnic lines, different times, different places woven story, which is difficult to say who can clear the relationship. Therefore, the rope is wound into a knot as a museum metaphor and abstraction into building, created many unexpected visual effects excellent shape and space.

The next one is Akihisa Hirata who is famous in Japan. He designed showroom H, which is located in Niigata, is a small agricultural exhibition space to show Honda built by machines. Continuous space can not see through, and the looming multi-formed deep within the space, people attracted by its interior, while often are able to have a continuous new discovery.

At last, this is the most avant-garde architectural history of Barcelona, the most crazy artist Gaudi's architectural works. He once said: "straight line belongs to humans, the curve belongs to God." In his works were almost no straight lines, mostly full of curves and organic patterns using the vitality of the object to form a building.

MINDMAPPING

This time i will talk about mindmap, and we have a new group. We got the topic  that around BLUE. When we got this topic, we just showed on the blue color in our mind. However, we gradually think a lot of ideas according to 6W(what, where, when, who, which, why) and 1H(how).
First about WHAT IS BLUE. Then we came up with some colors and music, such as light, dark, and mix blue. About music, there are bluegrass, jazz and R&B.
Nest we talk about WHERE IS BLUE. I think it is a very easy question. Because we can find blue anywhere in our life. For example, the blue car, blue table, blue chair and blue hair etc.
Interestingly, about WHO IS BLUE. Because there are so many blue characters in the cartoon or disneyland, include smurfs, sulivan and doraemon etc. Some artists are blue also. However, they create a lot of famous work.
At last, WHY IS BLUE. I think it is so suitable to people’s mood. When you feel boring, sad, lonely, depress or melancholy, we can call them all blue.
Through this mindmap, we learn more about the blue. Therefore, when we talk about blue, we do not come up with the blue color any more.

BROKEN THE RULES I

This time l will introduce some designers that have broken rules in their work. First one is Alexander McQueen. Alexander McQueen is a was a British fashion designer and couturier. McQueen is truly a devil's fashion circles. His design always branching off a bit, full creative ideas, and dramatic. His works often express wild emotional power, natural energy, romantic but outrightly modern, with a high degree of recognition. He always possible bipolar elements into a work among. For example, weak and strong, traditional and modern, rigorous and change, and so on. Meticulous British custom tailoring, exquisite  French high fashion craftsmanship and Italian handmade can be reflected in his works. In addition, Alexander McQueen creative fashion shows has even been hailed as many of today's most attractive fashion show.

Next one is Vivienne Westwood. Westwood design ideas are the most absurd, the most bizarre and the most ingenious in the field of clothing. Westwood was deeply interested in the punk fashion phenomenon of the 1970s, saying "I was messianic about punk, seeing if one could put a spoke in the system in some way". The "punk style" included BDSM fashion, bondage gear, safety pins, razor blades, bicycle or lavatory chains on clothing and spiked dog collars for jewellery, as well as outrageous make-up and hair. Maybe most of people can not understand this style.

Yohji Yamamoto is an award winning and influential Japanese fashion designer based in Tokyo and Paris. He is one of my favorite designers and he is considered to be a master tailor, alongside those such as Madeleine Vionnet and is known for his avant-garde tailoring featuring Japanese design aesthetics. Yamamoto is known for an avant-garde spirit in his clothing, frequently creating designs far removed from current trends. His signature oversized silhouettes in black often feature drapery in varying textures.

Last one is Rei Kawakubo. She is a Japanese fashion designer, founder of Comme des Garçons. Also, she is one of the designers that I admired. Comme des Garçons specialises in anti-fashion, austere, sometimes deconstructed garments. During the 1980s, her garments were primarily in black, dark grey or white. The materials were often draped around the body and featured frayed, unfinished edges along with holes and a general asymmetrical shape. Challenging the established notions of beauty she created an uproar at her debut Paris fashion show where journalists labeled her clothes 'Hiroshima chic' amongst other things. Since the late 1980s, her colour palette has grown somewhat.

BRAINSTORMING

At present, it’s very significant to send and receive the massages. This time our group come up with 100 methods to help people to obtain the information. Sometimes we can get massages on newspaper and television easily. However, this time we look for a majority of ways from Internet. Getting information from different aspects provides great convenience to our lives and accelerate the spread of knowledge. Importantly, these ways make our relationships with family and friends more closer and expand people’s social circle. In past, social relationships were limited by physical factors such as geographical distance. But nowadays, due to the widespread use of mobile phones and the Internet, one can get acquainted with more people online and stay in close contact with the outside world.
